Commissioner Lahore Division, Asif Bilal Lodhi, said that if there is no change in nomenclature and cost of a development scheme that could be considered for approval. He said that top priority must be maintained in standards of schemes and completion of scheme within time limit. He said those words while chairing a Divisional Development Working Committee meeting regarding review of development schemes. The committee today approved 6 schemes for rehabilitation of 4 roads of Kasur and Nankana Sahib, measuring 6 km in total. Commissioner Lahore Division also deferred a scheme because exact calculation on one part of a scheme was not presented. He said that he would himself visit to check the rehabilitated work. He also added that safety signage on roads must be installed keeping in view of roads, area and population. DC Nankana Sahib Raja Mansoor, Director Development Ch Tanvir Warraech and all district development officers participated in the meeting.
