Commissioner Lahore Division, Asif Bilal Lodhi directed all DC's to visit themselves of all sacrificial animals sale markets to ensure withdrawal of expected rain water and security arrangements. He also directed LWMC, Livestock and Traffic Police to enhance personnel’s in markets regarding markets, size and importance. He said that 36 temporary animals markets were being established in whole Lahore division including 7 of Lahore. He said that electricity arrangements would done in a manner to avoid even a single incident of electrocution in animal markets. He said that from January 2019 to 31 July 2019, 7 confirmed patients of dengue were appeared in Lahore and two appeared in the month of July. He said keeping in view the increases number of animals, the area of market must be enhanced to bring comfort for sellers, purchasers and animals. He said anti polio campaign was of prime importance and anti-polio campaign was critical for polio free districts of Lahore. He today chaired a meetings regarding polio, dengue and Eid ul Azha arrangements. All DC,s, all CEO,s Health authorities and all concerned departments participated in the meeting.
