Greater Iqbal Park

Iqbal Park formerly Minto Park, is an urban park. After renovation and expansion, it was named as Greater Iqbal Park. The 125-acre park includes an artificial lake which spreads over four acres which includes an 800 ft. long musical fountain. Other attractions include a soft rail, library, an open-air gym and a food court. The tombs of Allama Iqbal and Hafeez Jalandhari also are situated within the park. Renovation and enlargement together with renovation of the Minar-e-Pakistan (Pakistan Resolution Movement), the project options enlargement of the Iqbal Park within the stretch of Circular Road between the park and Lahore Fort. 4 km long walkways provide ample opportunities for running and cycling. In addition, the guests will take a stroll through the cascade encircled by four memorial monuments, ride within the soft rail that runs on the two metric linear unit long buggy track or picnic close to the lake and revel in 800 feet long musical fountain performance. Moreover, the park options lush leaf, ample seating and creative food courts and looking kiosks for guests.

National History Museum

National History Museum has been established under supervision of Commissioner Lahore. A state-of-the-art museum in the country will instigate pride in all generations and peoples of all walks of life. “Digital” in nature, the museum is the first of its kind in the country. The National History Museum takes you on a journey through the history of Pakistan. It commemorates major events leading up to the 1947 Partition, including the Lahore Resolution and Gandhi-Jinnah talks, followed by the journey to Pakistan, which marks the largest migration ever witnessed.
